Skill-sharing and Time Banking

Members can exchange skills and services for Time Credits instead of money. Skills include knitting, crochet, cross stitch, card making, computer skills, maths, money management, gardening, D.I.Y., and more.

Practical Support

  • Help with benefit queries, Blue Badge renewals, PIP claims, CV writing, job searches, and application assistance.
  • WiFi access for members.
  • Sorting and selling donated items like stamps, buttons, books, and puzzles to raise funds.

Emotional and Social Support:

  • Members can drop in for a chat, tea, or coffee when they need company or advice.
  • Support for people referred by organisations like Mind, especially for those with social anxiety or nervous dispositions.
